The New "Trenta" and all that unnecessary ice they put in your iced coffee...

By May 3, all U.S. Starbucks will offer the new option of "Trenta" a step above Venti. But is it necessary?? I admit, I love coffee and drink it all the time. I actually spent a great deal of my dining dollars at the Starbucks. Still, I have never even come close to ordering a Venti! Grande always seemed big enough--->of course this is totally a personal preference. I am sure plenty avid Starbucks customers are applauding the idea of a fresh size hitting the shops. Coffee plays a large role in America, right? Perhaps it is a sensible choice. The 31-ounce Trenta will only be for iced beverages---->Have you ever gotten an iced coffee and realized there was WAY more ice than actual coffee? Maybe a good solution? OR they could just stop putting so much damn ice in the coffee and ripping you off!

--Of course I rant about it now but within an hour I will most likely be running off to Cabell to meet friends and blow my dinning dollars once again on a cup of joe.

  1. The Village Cafe also gives too much ice. You get PITCHERS as if you're going to pour it into something else and you're so psyched to drink all this soda when it's actually 60% water.

  2. lol, this is great. good thing it's not hot coffee it'd get cold before you could even chug it! and you can ask for light ice, though their "light ice" is still a shit ton of ice.

  3. Just ask for no ice. I always get my coffee with no ice. Or even better, get something hot. =)
Or best of all, get a job there =P
