Knock it off wind!

Today was one of those days when I just wanted the wind to knock the fuck off. I mean it is beautiful outside! Sunny, warmer than usual--but the melancholy howling wind just can't go today without disturbing my brief walk to the library. You have to know what I mean--you pull your hair back because the wind's so bad and you think that will help. But it doesn't. The wind just pulls every strand out and smacks it across your face to blind the rest of your journey. It is even harder the open the door than usual. But as much as I complain I don't really care in the end. The weather an do what it wants. I am going to adjust my life to it, it will affect my wardrobe, and sometimes my plans but in the end it has no power over my day. No matter how much I want it to knock it off.
