Living Off Campus

I feel that with certain issues you do not feel strongly about them until someone is furiously disagreeing and refuting your opinion--

Two minutes ago I just had a heated discussion with my dad about whether or not I would live off campus next year. He worries I would not be able to handle living in an environment other than the dorms. I strongly disagree...Do you blame me? or am I being unreasonable?? I like making lists so here is a simpler way of looking at the argument--------->>>

 On Campus...

1. close to classes/ campus functions
2. limitations in dorm---guests, loudness, space, etc.
3. a little more expensive
4. sharing a building with a large group of
people you don't know( this could be good and bad...)
5. no yard
6. maybe more focus? controlled and limited environment
rids of distractions?

Off Campus---->

1. depending on choice, could be close to or maybe a biking distance away
2. pets
3. your own personal space
4. homey comfortable atmosphere
5. neighbors but on the same street as you--not building
6. not as much of a limit on loudness--privacy!!!
7. separation of school and social life

Of course you school life and social life will mix but I think physically distancing the two a little more could help me with the balance---
